The facets generally did not qualify the objects in the part “of field of matter” of the matter chart (C-with-D. matters, names of matter and associations). Their goal is simply to add attributes to the resources of information. In a direction, the facets are orthogonal with the model of matter chart itself (except insofar as the facet types and value of facet types, the majority of the other things in the standard of matter chart, are regarded as matters).
